Revenge Porn Soon To Be Against The Law in Missouri.

Missouri currently has a bill in the legislature that will make revenge porn against the law in the State of Missouri. What is Revenge Porn? While the term revenge porn seems very self explanatory, the term can also be misleading. The typical scenario is where two people are in a relationship and they send each other explicit photographs or videos, they break up and the scorned party uploads those photographs or videos to the internet. Celebrating Too Much: 4th of July DWI

With the 4th of July holiday coming up, make sure you are not one of the many St. Louis residents who will be arrested for a DWI over the holiday weekend. Hopefully, your boss is nice enough to give you Wednesday off to recover, but with the holiday being on Tuesday you will more than likely have a long weekend filled with friends, family and alcohol. That being said, if you’re driving, don’

In The News: Text Messages Could Lead to Manslaughter

This case doesn’t come out of Missouri, but it’s such an interesting case, I’d be remissed if I didn’t mention it in our In The News section because frankly, it’s big news! This is a case out of Taunton, Massachusetts where Michelle Carter was accused and found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for sending text messages to a friend, whom committed suicide based on the text messages Ms. Carter sent him. Ms. Carter will be sentenced August 3, 2017 and now faces up to 20 years
